NoPhone is a digital-wellbeing app that blocks apps and websites you choose. Your locks, selections, streaks and settings stay on your device.
We receive an account identifier and email address when you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. When you nominate an emergency key holder, their email address is sent to our email provider only to deliver that key. A short-lived, pseudonymous record of the send is retained for abuse prevention; the key-holder email and plaintext key are not stored in our database.
Your locks, selected apps and categories, unlock-key hash, streaks, time-saved insights, and settings are stored only on your device in protected local storage. They are not uploaded to NoPhone.
When you send an unlock code to a trusted person, the code is generated on our server, emailed to that person, and only a one-way hash is returned to your device. We do not store the code or the recipient's email after sending.
If you enable adult-content blocking, Android uses a local, on-device VPN to filter DNS. No browsing traffic leaves your device, and we do not log the domains you visit.
To block apps, NoPhone uses an Accessibility Service solely to detect which app is in the foreground so it can show a block screen. It does not read screen content, collect data, or transmit anything.
NoPhone uses Google Mobile Ads for an interstitial shown at the transition into lock activation. We request non-personalized ads. Google Mobile Ads may process an IP address, device or app identifiers, ad interactions, advertising data, performance data, and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. NoPhone does not store that advertising data in its own database. Google's consent form is shown where required, and privacy and ad-reporting controls are available in the app.
Open Account & settings → "Delete account and data". This erases your account and associated server records and wipes local NoPhone data. You can also request deletion after uninstalling the app from no-phone.app/delete-account. We keep only an irreversible deletion-audit hash and timestamp for security and compliance.
